Quick setup -> Guided setup
;Power
: When you plug the Platinum AX into a power source, it will automatically turn onafter testing the power reliability. Because of this, the system always returns to automatic capabilities after a power failure. The clock continues to run, powered by a super capacitor that recharges when plugged in. The solid state data drive retains scheduling and music while power is removed.
: The To the upper left of the front panel display, a [[Operate_AX_products#Lighted_power_button|power button ]] also serves as a status light (see table below) and a functional button. While the AX system is onOther functions include Stop, one tap will Display dim or brighten the screen. A double tap will function just like the on screen stop button without having to log in to the system. Stop will gently end all music playing at this time. It will briefly display a red light, to acknowledge that the command was accepted, then return to goldDisplay wake and Shutdown (see [[Operate_AX_products#Lighted_power_button|instructions]].
: To initiate the shutdown process, push and hold the power button until it turns red. (While the light is flashing lavender, one click will turn the button back to gold, cancel the shutdown process and return to the previous screen.) When it is safe to unplug the system, the light will be solid blue. Like a computer, this process is required for proper functionality. Unplugging the AX system without shutting down is not recommended; errors may occur. : One click of the solid blue power button will restart the Platinum AX. When the power button is solid gold, it is ready to accept commands. {| class="wikitable"! Color! Appearance! Throughout this menu, the default selection is the most common choice. You can access Quick Setup anytime to change all your settings at once but individual changes should be made in their own specific menus.
: Please note: Random or Almanac Selected Music does NOT mean that music will play at random times. Only the days and times you have selected will sound.
