Temp/Transposition menu button

You can adjust the sequence files stored in the Millennium and Platinum carillons to change the key signature and tempo. Some tolling bells and time strikes can also be adjusted, but attempts to adjust swinging bells will give bad results.

Adjust tempo for a song

Select the song you wish to speed up or slow down. Drag it into the left panel of the librarian window. Select a percentage of original speed to speed up or slow down.

Transpose a song

Select the song you wish to raise or lower in pitch. Drag it into the left panel of the librarian window. Select the number of semitones to raise or lower.

We do not recommend transposing Chime and Harp selections because they utilize a split-keyboard. Transposing these selections up may result in accompaniment notes playing on the lower chimes. Transposing down may cause melody notes to play on the harp bells (or disappear if harp bells are turned off).
