Mechanical

All internally mounted stationary electric clappers are custom made and have various types of mounting. A drawing will always be provided with the clapper to illustrate how the hardware goes together.

Electrical

Always use stranded wire from the controller to the clapper's magnetic coils. The rising edge of the current pulse tends to ride on the skin of the wires and stranded wire will provide the best transmission of the pulse.

There will be a pair of wires from each coil of each clapper. There is not strictly a polarity, but you should match the wire colors of multiple coils for maximum power. The controller output is marked with a positive and negative polarity to show that it is DC.

Since full-wave rectification is used on each output, do not common either power leg between clappers.
