All systems returned to Chime Master for any reason receive the latest firmware updates and also a battery test. If the battery is low or more than five years old, we replace it.

Battery type and location

The battery is a standard lithium coin battery type BR-2032 available at most department stores and pharmacies. It is installed in a battery clip on the main control PCB in the system.
